I wouldn’t have either but I was stationed in Spain in the 80s and a friend of mine had one. Tiny little engine in the back, broken shock mount and a front seat back that wouldn’t stay up. It was the best.

Nope. Most unfortunately Seat never made any 500s.
What y0u are talking about is the Seat version of the Fiat 600, manufactured under licence. 600s –irrespective of where they were made– were a bit bigger and had four-cylinder engines; Fiat 500s had an even smaller inline twin.
